dearest family! hallo. thank you for the beautiful email. twas a delight to read about what is going on in every ones lives! sounds quite exciting. i took some pictures to send you, but totally forgot my cable to send them. oops! i promise to send them next week! life is swell here in amsterdam. i adore it. it is quite the melting pot of cultures. which i naturally find super fantastic. last week we had many dinner appointments with members and we had Ghanaian, thai, classic dutch and american cuisines. it is a great time. we have about 5 progressing investigators right now, it is pretty fantastic. the people are wonderful. i am learning a lot and trying not to stress about the language too much. the Christlike attribute i am working on this month is patience. that is what i need. we will see how it goes. :)
well, my companion, zuster jeffs and i just went on a great adventure to ikea. it was a good time. strangely enough, it reminded me of home. it was nice. somehow, the time goes EXTREMELY fast on p-days. it is unfortunate. i never feel like i have enough time to do everything. but that is normal i guess. so, on sunday, i gave my first talk. well, it was more of an introduction/testimony but still, it was in nederlands. i was a bit nervous, naturally. but it went well and people were kind and told me i have good dutch. i am just not sure who to actually believe. we will see. this saturday we are traveling to almere for a baptismal service because one of our investigators really wants to see one before she decides to commit to it. i hope i get to see some of our old friends. twill be a lovely time indeed! well - i am sorry this is short...i dont have much time this week. :( i am sorry. i love you all! life is good. thank you all for your love, support and prayers. keep it real!
lovesssss.

(Paul and I have contacted several of our friends that live in Almere, which is where our family lived for two years when Kate was 2-4 yrs old. They responded right away and they will all be there and are excited to see her! They said they will take good care of her for us! How blessed we are! Thought you all would like to hear that bit of news along with Kate's e-mail this week!)
