dearest family -
greetings on this lovely spring day. i write this email with a heart full of love and joy. i have been thinking a lot about you all this week. our investigator, Antoinette has three children and i told her that this is the greatest choice she could make for her family! as i study the lessons we share for our investigators i think of you all and how BLESSED i am to be in this family! we also taught young women's this week and the lesson was about supporting your family and oh man i was a mess whilst reading that lesson! so, i wanted to thank you all so so much for being such a fabulous family. i shall be writing individual letters this week but i had to share it in my email. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCHHHHH!!!!! :)
so - this week was full of blessings and joy. on monday night we had a great breakthrough with one of our progressors - she is really coming along - even though its a bit slow. its great to have the opportunity and blessing of being a part of their conversion process and witnessing the great happiness and change in their lives! oh snap! we had a random lesson with Ellen at the KFC...so strange. turns out kfc is not the greatest place to have a lesson but it was all we had a the moment. any time any place! the weather is steadily improving and the sun shines bright - it is most definitely a boost! we now have three baptisms coming up and i am totallllllllly stoked. there are so many people looking for truth and guidance. i am SO glad to know these people.
on sunday, we had a super duper gezellig dinner at an american brothers house in the centrum. he invited all the a'dam missionaries and we had a lovely american meal with spaghetti, garlic bread and salad with ranch...crazyyyyy. also brownies for dessert. it was so weird. i felt like i was in america. haha...good times.
well - today is the day i am finally going to have time to put pictures on a cd and send them over. i will try and take a picture of the MASSIVE spider that has created his home in our backyard. good gravy. i think i will have to give him a name. i don't really want him there but i dont have the heart to destroy his home. oh man. i would feel terrible. we'll see. i shall keep you updated.
i have greatly been enjoying drinking tea out of my new queen beatrix mug. its almost as precious as hyacinths royal doulton with the hand painted periwinkles. we will be having a candlelight supper this wednesday in honor of our hyacinth. i hope you will all join me across the pond.
well - the tijd is zehr kort, so i must be away. i love you all. so much. oh so much.
thank you for the love and support and prayers that i feel constantly.
hallelujah for families. liefs! - katelyn marie stout
